Darren began his career working with A-list talent manager and film producer Steven Chasman on the hit film The Transporter, where a character—Darren "Wall Street" Bettencourt—was named in his honor. He later worked for the creator of Modern Family before relocating to NYC, where his PR career flourished.

Darren has worked with talent on top series, including every Million Dollar Listing city and Real Housewives franchises in New York City, New Jersey, Potomac, and Beverly Hills. Most recently, he spearheaded the launch of HBO Max’s Selling the Hamptons and partnered with the BBC to debut Crazy Rich Agents.
